Gurg, Ed and Don of LIghtning Moving Kamloops BC did an excellent job moving my stuff. I'm not exaggerating when I say that they did not TOUCH a wall. The newly painted space had zero damage, the items moved had zero damage. They were friendly, they showed up on time and took care of some very large, very heavy furniture for me with ease. They even got rid of some pieces I couldn't sell for an extra fee. Ed is incredibly strong and lifted some real heavy, awkward pieces by himself. Pretty impressive stuff! Hannah was excellent on the phone and answered all of my questions and took care of the booking with ease. 100% would call these folks again.

We used Lightning Movers to go to the Fraser Valley. They were professional from day 1 Walk thru to delivery.They were always punctual! I have never seen anyone work as hard as these 4 men did! No phones, no standing around, they were just amazing! I would recommend them to anyone. They wrapped and blanketed all our furniture and everything arrived safe. Not one broken or scratched item. Huge huge huge rave to these guys! I had hired other movers who were going to load my Uhaul truck up today but cancelled at 530am. I freaked out and called lightning at 8am and the owner took my info and called me right back and confirmed he could get 3 guys to help at 930am. I went to go pick up my Uhaul truck at 830am which I had reserved and they totally messed up and thought I was supposed to pick up at 930. I got back to the house by 10 and these guys hussled, I couldn't believe it, they got everything done in under the quoted time. My neighbour even told me she popped by to see if I was there and said they were super friendly which I totally agree. This is my first time using lightning and everything went seemlessly, even better than I expected. And you know what I thought was the best part? I found a huge 4 leaf clover that someone left on my oven which made my day. Couldn't recommend these guys more!

Gurjeet, Brent, and Chris K. are the guys you want! I was honestly losing sleep over how much assembly and disassembly was involved with my move, but these guys were incredible. Super knowledgeable , they took one look at everything and immediately knew exactly what tools were needed to get it all apart quickly and efficiently. I thought this move was going to take 10 hours, but they got it done in 7, even with the commute. They saved me a ton of money with how fast and organized they worked. I seriously can’t thank them enough. I don’t know the rest of the crew, but these three were absolutely top notch.

The whole process was amazing! From booking the move to the move itself. They were very helpful in providing information on the expected duration the move would take and transparent with cost. On moving day, the crew was fast, efficient, careful with the items. We had SO many antique fragile items to move! We were moving my parents into a senior home and downsizing, so it was an overwhelming process. I am so happy that we went with this company as the move couldn't have gone smoother. The cost was also very reasonable.

I used these awesome, fast guys to help me move. They took apart my daughter bunkbed and had us out of our 2 bdrm apt in 30mins, and into our new place while putting the bunkbed back together even better within another 30mins! Highly impressive. When I realized I had forgotten more stuff in my basement Storage unit, I quickly called Hannah at reception and she was thankfully able to squeeze me in the next day! Joseph, Gurjeet, John and Tyler were awesome! When I first reached out for a quote, Joseph was prompt, knowledgeable and reasonably price I was very impressed. I had moved a few times over the years and these folks were the most professional and organized. They had all the equipment, blankets, traps, hydraulic lifts, clean and I felt like I was in good hands right from the start. Gurgeet said that he had worked for Joseph for a while and it showed, he gave direction to the guys and knew exactly what he was doing, put the items in the respective places and even put legs on furniture and beds. I was really happy with the whole team and at the end of it all when I needed some garbage hauled away they even had a truck and staff for that! I would definitely recommend them to my friends or anyone who is selling a home and moving to another city like I did. I wasn’t there when they unloaded but I didn’t need to be. They were respectful and efficient. I’m really glad my friends referred them to me! Thanks guys you were awesome and made what could have been a stressful move so easy!!!

They were on time we had to meet Telus so we were twenty mins. Late which set off a series of mistakes no one’s fault there was a little damage on two dressers but other then that everything was good but the price just a warning out there if something goes wrong they do.not stand by the quote it ended costing us two and a half times the original quote and that is all moving companies so beware they did give us a break easy to deal with it was unordinary circumstances but a tough blow when not expecting it. They were very nice and respectful at all times I would funny enough hire then again they were great except the money which was no one’s fault.

The guys showed up on time and worked continuously for 2.5 hrs before taking a break (on my recommendation not theirs) then went for another 1.5 hrs until the sea-can was loaded.... these guys deserve double the available 5 star rating... Amazing! These guys helped me out with not much notice. The two gentlemen showed up right on time. They were super respectful, careful with my belongings and even cautious to keep their noise down around my sleeping baby. Without even being asked to. They had lots of stairs both moving us out and in to our new home and didn’t complain once. They were clean, tidy and even organized the boxes in my garage to ensure I could still get my vehicle in. Again without being asked. I was genuinely so impressed. Would use them again and again and you should too.

If you are wondering how to pick a mover, stop now and pick Team Lightening! We had that challenge. New to Kamloops and no idea who would do a good job at the right price. Emailed a bunch of movers. Joseph got back in minutes and with a great price and date. Others? Couple replied, most others, no. Day of the move (small job from a container), John and colleague showed up on time. Fast, friendly and efficient. They managed to get some items into the suite through a narrow door. They cared about not damaging items for sure! In September, I hired Lightning Movers to move four items, including a glass dining table and a brand-new sofa bed. On the schedule move day, they contacted me requesting to begin the move earlier than planned. The sofa was new and difficult to maneuver, which is why I chose to hire professional movers. During the move, the crew appeared rushed and were complaining about being hungry. After the move was completed, I discovered that the fabric on the top of the sofa had been torn on a door strike plate. The movers acknowledged the damage, apologized, and accepted responsibility. The damaged area is part of the sofa’s fixed framework and not a removable cushion. I was initially offered a settlement to repair the damage. However, since that time, all attempts to follow up or collect on the agreed settlement have gone unanswered.

Horrible experience. First time hiring a moving company and probably my last. Showed up over an hour late, left several items behind, the one guy was slow as molasses. I helped move items to the truck to try and speed things up and was still left to haul 6 loads with my suv. AND they accidentally took my moving dolly. Now left to get it back.

Lightening movers showed up today to move a senior citizen's home belongings from Kamloops to Vernon. They showed up without a dolly, had a sarcastic and nonchalant attitude throughout the day (including the owner John), dropped boxes, didn't follow direction from the client, one employee was seen on his phone multiple times walking slowly down the hall towards more boxes that the client had put out in the hall for him. Overall unprofessional. Would not recommend. To respond to Lightening: The client expressed to me multiple times that he felt him and I were doing most of the work, he was in disbelief that you did not come equipped w a dolly and had to use his equipment (blue wagon), nd he also complained about your music to me. Accountability is also very important in running a business, along w how you and your team choose to conduct yourself. The senior citizen said numerous times that she should have asked for multiple quotes. I'll enjoy my day, thank you.
