Kamloops movers on Reddit: what locals say about Lightning
Kamloops movers come up on Reddit, and so does Lightning. In five r/Kamloops threads from July 2024 to August 2025, eight different people recommended Lightning or described a good move with us. One said no. Every comment is below, word for word.
Looking for movers who are good value
The December 2024 thread started with a simple question: “Most affordable movers in Kamloops?” These replies, and one from an earlier thread, are about us.
“Lightning did our move in Sept- couldn’t recommend more. They were fantastic.”
“Lightning was great and I have used them 3 times in the last 1.5 years.”

“Highly recommend lightning moving, great folks, great rates. They handled my stuff with care, and were super fast, not trying to get more money on the charge per hour. Their communication was on point.”
Moving a parent or grandparent
Moving someone older takes patience at both ends. When you call, tell us about stairs, access and anything fragile, so the right crew is booked.
“I second this. No clue if they go that far but they were fantastic moving my grandma.”
Moving a business

Moving farther than Kamloops
In a thread about a longer move, both people who recommended us were not sure we go that far. We do. Our customers have reviewed moves with us to Calgary and West Vancouver.

Checking whether a mover is legit
When someone asked whether a different moving company was legitimate, this reply suggested us instead.
“Never ever heard of them. I'd recommend Lightning or Ezzy Moves.”
What our crews are like: the good, the mixed and the no
Not every comment is glowing. One person had a mixed crew, and one said no without giving a reason. They are here because leaving them out would make the rest harder to trust.
“We used Lightning and had three guys that were great. Very fast, professional and no weird vibes. We had them booked for two blocks and they got it done in one.”
“We used Lightning movers and they were pretty good. One of them complained a lot, one was mostly professional, and one was chain smoking the whole time and has probably seen some s**t, but nice enough. I don't think anything was damaged and they followed direction quite well.”

“I've never used lightning for moving, but I would after using them for clean out of my mom's place. They were great.”
